PROBLEM STATEMENT:
Sudden power cuts and distorted power transmission are the basic problems faced by the country. One such Factory was completely running on 1000 kvA DG Sets and consumed about 35 Gallons of diesel per Day to power the Factory.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- The grid stability in Myanmar country is very poor.
- The management had a greater concern about high unstable pricing of diesel and its high consumption pattern and as a result, they decided to reduce their diesel consumption using some alternative energy source like Solar Energy.
- We have installed 410kW Solar Power Project which is the largest rooftop project till date in Myanmar.

Problem Statement:
Global Vipassana Pagoda located at Mumbai needs a robust solar system which preserved the sanctity of the institution.
Highlights:
- Successfully installed the solar plant at Global Vipassana.
- In order to preserve the aesthetic look of the institution, the structure height was maintained less and the panels were arranged in East-West direction from ground level.
- Also, to withstand heavy wind speed, the structure was installed with additional civil blocking to minimize structural vibration.

Problem Statement:
IOCL required 800 kW PGT at 8 different locations across Tamil Nadu.
Highlights:
- Teams were deployed at 3 different locations at a time for faster execution and successful completion of 800kW PGT.
- Submitted the details on the systems which were working on solar and their efficiencies within 10 days.

Problem Statement:
A complete DC system project along with the working of the system to be based on DC power. Efficient system design needed to charge bus batteries in less time and also requirement for reduction in losses.

Nuclear Power Corporation of India
On-Grid Connected System at NPCIL
Problem Statement:
Nuclear Power Corporation of India located at BARC, Trombay faced the biggest challenge of wind speed of above 44 mphr. Hence the system design and structure had to be designed as per specifications such that the system is not affected by wind pressure.
Highlights:

After taking into consideration all situations, we designed and developed the solar structure as per 55 mphr/200 km/hours.

Successfully installed in a record delivery time of 10 days and quick installation at site.

This was a demo project which was installed at the company’s power house to check the performance of solar at one particular location.

Upon successful installation at this location, the client plans to install similar system to other buildings of BARC too in future.

PROBLEM STATEMENT:
The project had a requirement of 1MW PMC in South Sudan. The scope was to design the solar system & PMC for this UN funded project. The main challenge was to design the system which would be suitable as per the environment in South Sudan.

The report submitted to the client was accepted and the solar plant was successfully installed.

PROBLEM STATEMENT:
The client wanted to run 28 Street Lights & 5 Bungalow Lights on Solar Power. The aim was to design and installed the system as per the client’s requirements.
HIGHLIGHTS:

Taking into consideration the requirements of the client a system of 4kW Off Grid was designed.

It has also been successfully installed at the client’s premises.

Dr.Prakash Amte , Hemalkasa CSR project for School
CSR Projects: Hemalkasa School
Problem Statement:
This was a CSR project Hemalkasa, Gadchiroli. The client wanted to install Solar-powered Home Light System at their Adiwasi School at Nelgunda, Hemalkasa near Maharashtra – Chhattisgarh border.
Highlights:
- The site area is surrounded by dense forest & no grid connections nearby in around 50km. This school is run successfully by Dr. Prakash Amte under “Lok Biradari Prakalpa” at HemalKasa.
- Within 2 days we have successfully installed the 400W system for 8 lights and 4 fans for the school situated at a very remote location.
Benefits:
- There are no grid or electricity available in these remote locations.
- After the installation of the solar system, all the villagers are very happy and the students can study during the night time as well.

Problem Statement:
The requirement was to put the hoarding lights on Solar.
Highlights:

This was one of the most innovative ideas of QINSO.

This project was first implemented in Mumbai near Vasai area.

The total of 8 lights for a 10’ x 10’ size hoarding was installed on Dec 2014 in Vasai.

The sole purpose of this hoarding was to demonstrate the significance of the power of Solar Energy to the public.

JSW CSR PROJECT
CSR Project: JSW Project
PROBLEM STATEMENT:
JSW Project was one of opportunity received to enlighten the lives of people through Solar. This project involved lightening of almost three villages of Vashind, Shahapur Area. The requirement was to install 67 Solar Street Lights donated by JSW.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- This project was successfully implemented in the record time of 4 days by successfully installing the street lights in the three villages.
BENEFITS:
- Now the roads between the villages are no more in darkness.
- People can have access to roam around easily. Also, in emergency scenario, the road lights will help them to walk.
